Box Score OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College women's volleyball team handily defeated the La Cité Coyotes on Saturday afternoon to sweep the match 3-0 and remain undefeated in conference play.
Allison Marshall (Orillia, Ont.) had a match-high 10 kills to lead the Lords offence.
With seven aces, four kills and a block -
Shannon Dean (Whitby, Ont.) had a match-high 12 points.
Camille Lefaive (Whitby, Ont.) was also trouble for the Coyotes at the service line – earning five aces in the Lords victory.
At the net it was La Cité's Frederick Boulne-Seguin with a game-high three blocks, while Lords' middle
Madeleine Elit (Trenton, Ont.) led Durham with two.
Boulne-Seguin also led her team with four kills.
Durham opened with a 25-8 first set victory, but had to fight to barely earn the 25-23 second set win.
Back in proper form in the third set, the Lords easily walked away with it 25-7.
This Thursday the Lords will be on the road to battle the undefeated Georgian Grizzlies in Barrie. First serve is 6 p.m.
