MEN'S VOLLEYBALL SWEEP LANCERS

The Georgian Grizzlies men's volleyball team hosted the Loyalist Lancers on Saturday afternoon at the Georgian Athletic Centre in Barrie, ON.
After a bit of a slow start the men's team came storming back to sweep the Lancers 3-0. Set scores were 25-21, 25-15 and 25-17.
Georgian's Ryan DeBruyn (Ottawa) had another big game scoring a team high 16 kills while also posting two blocks.
Jordi Romero (Brampton) was solid as well with 10 kills and a block while Liam Gray (Barrie) was dynamic once again with 30 assists and registering two blocks.
The Grizzlies move to 13-1 on the season as they sit in first place in the OCAA east division standings, two games up on the second place George Brown Huskies.
The team will be hosting a big night this coming Wednesday, Jan. 31 when they host the Huskies at 8 p.m. at the Georgian Athletic Centre.
Georgian will be hosting a special Bell Let's Talk night which will feature tons of great prizes and giveaways while promoting mental health awareness.
It will be the final home game of the Grizzlies regular season schedule and their will also be a special pre-game ceremony recognizing the graduating student-athletes.
Tickets for the double-header of games are available at the doors for $5 each. Students can pick up tickets for free in advance at the Georgian Athletic Centre.
