The Bruins completed the comeback early in the third, tying up the game at the 6:28 mark. Humber was able to once again respond, going on a late run to end the quarter to take a nine-point lead into the fourth.

As is always the case when these two teams meet, the final ten minutes was guaranteed to be a battle. Sheridan used an 11-0 run late in the fourth to take its first lead of the game with just two minutes remaining.

Trailing by two with less than a minute left, senior DeQuon Cascart answered with a huge three-pointer sparking a 5-0 run of his own in what would be the final blow, as Humber came out on top in a thriller, 89-84.
