OTTAWA, Ont. – Continuing their strong start to the 2019-20 season, the Durham College men's volleyball team earned another straight sets victory defeating the La Cite Coyotes on Sunday afternoon. Set scores were 25-15, 25-12, 25-19.
Despite having a roster filled with veterans, the Lords took advantage of the matchup with the weaker Coyotes to allow a number of first-year athletes to gain vital OCAA playing experience as five first-year Lords saw time on the court. Durham was most noticeably exceptional at the service line where they registered 14 service aces in the win to just three for the Coyotes.
DC will look to continue the hot start when they return to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre for their 2019-20 home opener versus the visiting Loyalist Lancers this Thursday, Oct. 24. First serve is scheduled for 8 p.m. with the match being streamed on
OCAA LIVE.
