No. 6 Fanshawe Defeats Conestoga in Women’s Soccer Match

(London, Ontario) – The Fanshawe Women's Soccer squad (2-0-1), who is currently ranked sixth in Canada, extended their OCAA regular season unbeaten streak to 22 games with a 7-2 win over Conestoga (0-3-0).

Fanshawe started off strong in the first half, with Kayla McQueen (London, ON) capitalizing on a pass from OCAA assist leader (5) Victoria Hinchliffe (Guelph, ON) in the 4th minute of play. Local rookie Aysia King then dribbled through a pair of Conestoga defenders and finished with a goal in her Falcons debut.
