The George Brown men's basketball team (11-1) continued their winning ways Tuesday evening (Jan 24) at the Casa Loma Athletic Centre with a strong performance against the Fleming Knights (3-9). The Huskies cruised to a 121-65 final.


HOW IT HAPPENED: The opening quarter saw both sides exchange a flurry of baskets with the Huskies coming out with a 26-25 edge entering the second quarter. The Huskies offense would explode for 40 points in the second quarter led by the scoring of Andre Burrow (3^rd Year) who netted eight points along with Jeremiah Brown (4^th Year) who added six points. The Huskies entered halftime with a comfortable 66-40 lead.


In the third quarter, the Huskies held the Knights to just nine points while scoring 28 of their own led by the hot hand of Tyrell Taylor (2^nd Year) who scored seven points in just three minutes of action. The Huskies would add another 27 points in the final frame.
