SCARBOROUGH - Rashad Grant finds himself with three goals in four games played after he netted two in his first start of the season, during his team's 5-0 victory over the winless Sault College Cougars (0-9-0).

Grant started the scoring for the Colts who now move to 3-5-1 on the season after his header off of a Khristos Zin cross found the back of the goal making it 1-0 in the first ten minutes of the game. His second came in the latter half, adding insurance for the Colts putting them even farther out of reach at 5-0.

Goalkeeper Haruto Tomioka recorded the clean sheet, his first of the year thanks to a couple brilliant saves, one of which where he steered aside a shot from the penalty spot late in Saturday night's fixture.

Three other players found their names on the scoresheet, Micheal Cicciarelli, Ali Azim, and Muaz Ahmed all found the twine behind Cougars' keeper, Alessandro Ciampagila.

The Sault College Cougars couldn't find a way to get the ball in the back of the net, which has been the story of their season, having not scored a single goal in the entirety of the 2022 campaign.

However, Rashawn Bascoe, had the best outing of any of the Cougars. The winger found the crossbar on a well taken free kick, he recorded 3 of his team's 7 shots on goal and drew a penalty shot late to try and get his team on the scoreboard, but his efforts fell short.

The Sault College Cougars are set to take on the George Brown Huskies on Sunday October 16 to end their year, while the season finale for the Colts will happen on home turf against Cambrian College that same day.
