The George Brown women's volleyball team (10-4) fell to the undefeated Durham Lords (14-0) in three straight sets 25-17, 25-11, 25-15. The men's volleyball team (2-11) also fell to the Lords (7-6) in a four-set battle 25-22, 25-19, 25-22, 26-24.  
 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED - WVB: The Huskies knew they were in for a tough match against the Lords but were optimistic that they could put up a strong fight against the #1 ranked team. Despite dropping the match in three-straight sets, Jessie Liang finished with nine kills on 16 total attempts scoring 10 points. Brianne Lee (1st Year) and Nicole Agustin (2nd Year) combined for 23 assists. 
 
 
Head coach, Daphne Choi knew going into the match the Huskies would have to play their best game of the season. "Unfortunately, we just didn't do that today, and as a team we have a lot of respect for the Lords and the program they run.  All that being said, we're continually becoming a program that is proving we're able to put pressure and compete at the highest levels. We've still got a lot on us, and we're excited for our next opportunity to show it." 
 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED – MVB: The men's team were able to push the Lords to four sets in a hard-fought battle. Leading the way for the Huskies offensively was David Kiswa (1st Year) who finished with 20 kills on 40 total attempts collecting 24 points while Joseph Lee (1st Year) finished the game with 15 kills on 47 attempts to finish with 15 points.
