Women's softball teams will remain in a single group playing a condensed regular season schedule of eighteen (18) games. Each team will play both a doubleheader and single game against each other. The single games will take place in three designated locations to reduce travel.

The first pitch of the OCAA season will take place on Friday, Sept. 17 as the St. Clair Saints (Windsor) host the defending OCAA champion Humber Hawks (Etobicoke) at its new softball facility.

Fanshawe College (London) will play host to the first group of single games on Saturday, Sept. 18 and Sunday, Sept. 19 with a dozen contests featuring all seven (7) teams at the Stronach softball diamonds.

A mini-round of single games will be hosted by St. Clair on Friday, Sept. 24 between three teams, while Durham College (Oshawa) will host the final round on Saturday, Sept. 25 and Sunday, Sept. 26 with a half-dozen games between four teams.

An anticipated rematch of the 2019 OCAA gold medal game takes place on Sept. 26 when Durham hosts the Hawks. Humber ended Durham's bid for a record fifth straight OCAA championship with a walk-off 3-2 victory in extra innings back on Oct. 19, 2019. Humber will host a doubleheader between these clubs on Wednesday, Oct. 6.

The top six (6) teams will advance to the OCAA championship, hosted by St. Clair College (Windsor) from Oct. 21-23. The third-place team will play the sixth seed while the fourth-place club battles the fifth in sudden death games to open the competition. The winners will then compete against the first and second place teams in a double knockout tournament, with teams playing a minimum of two games each. Clubs are eliminated from the competition after their second loss.

All OCAA schedules for the 2021-22 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
