TORONTO - The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) is partnering with PrestoSports to launch OCAA LIVE, providing followers a central platform to view live webcasts from various OCAA events.
Beginning this Friday, OCAA LIVE will webcast over 850 regular season events during its 2019-20 inaugural season showcasing a variety of OCAA varsity sports. In addition, OCAA LIVE will feature first round playoff coverage in soccer, men's rugby, volleyball and basketball as well as OCAA provincial championships.
"OCAA LIVE is an opportunity for our student-athletes to connect with a broader audience," said Kyle Pelly, Executive Director of the OCAA. "Having OCAA webcasts within a single portal allows our followers to experience sporting events on any electronic device simultaneously. For those who may miss out on the live action, archives of all our webcasts are available for later viewing."
Live and on-demand video of all streamed games will be available online as well as Internet enabled streaming devices such as iOS and Android mobile phones and tablets. In addition, users will be able to view video streams on television through indirect integration with AppleTV, AndroidTV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku via smart TVs.
PrestoSports has a wealth of experience streaming Canadian intercollegiate sport through its streaming solution, StretchLive. Last season, StretchLive was the official webcasting platform of the Humber Hawks, Seneca Sting and Sault Cougars of the OCAA.

In addition, an OCAA LIVE logo was created by Stephen McLean, a student studying graphic design at Fanshawe College.
The first official webcast on OCAA LIVE will take place this Friday as the Loyalist Lancers host the George Brown Huskies in women's soccer action.
All content on OCAA LIVE will be delivered free of charge and is available via the Internet at www.ocaa.com/ocaalive.
