ST. CLAIR 3, CAMBRIAN 0

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's volleyball team improved their OCAA record to 4-3 on the season defeating the Cambrian Golden Shield at the SportsPlex on Saturday afternoon.

The Saints won the match by a score of 3-0. Game scores for St. Clair were 25-15, 25-16, and 25-19.

It was a solid all around team effort by St. Clair with the entire roster seeing lots of action on the court. Middle Ubert Batista (Panama) led the way offensively with six kills. Robert Carter (Wallacetown) had a great match as well with five kills, one service ace and two digs. The St. Clair men are currently ranked eighth in Ontario. The loss dropped Cambrian's record to 1-6 on the season.

The men are next in action on Sunday afternoon when they host the Collége Boréal Vipères at 2 p.m. at the SportsPlex in their final home match of the semester. The game will also be shown live on YourTV Windsor (Channel 11 or 700HD).
