KOVACEVIC BECOMES FIRST OCAA SOCCER PLAYER TO REACH 100 CAREER GOALS

LONDON, Ont. - Fanshawe striker Jade Kovacevic (Acton, Ont.) added yet another accomplishment to her resume this past Saturday.

In Fanshawe's win over University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), Kovacevic notched five goals to bring her OCAA career total to 100. She is the first OCAA soccer player to accomplish this incredible feat. The No. 2 nationally-ranked Falcons (6-0-1) defeated UTM (1-5-1) on the road by a score of 8-0.

Kovacevic has 21 goals so far in the 2019-20 season with two games remaining. Over her four year career in the OCAA, Kovacevic has netted 26 goals in 2015-16, 23 goals in 2016-17 and an OCAA season record 30 goals in 2018-19.

Fanshawe's next match will be on the road against the St. Clair Saints (4-3-0) on Thursday, Oct. 10.
