Making her OCAA debut on the pitch, Bardawill scored the opening goal in the 12th minute, then added an insurance marker to close out the first half as the Loyalist Lancers defeated Fleming at home 4-0 on Sept. 17. The win was significant as it marks the first time Loyalist has been over .500 to start a women's soccer season since winning twice and tying once to begin the 2005 campaign. Bardawill is one of eight OCAA student-athletes who scored two goals or better in their 2021 season openers. Loyalist visits Durham in the latter's opening match on Tuesday.
