Beneteau was the top men's golfer in a warmup for the 2021 CCAA Golf National Championships presented by PING. Beneteau shot a four-under 67 for the only sub-70 round of the exclusive event played Oct. 3 at the Ambassador Golf Club, site of next week's nationals. Beneteau won the competition by three strokes, and also helped St. Lawrence win team honours. Beneteau, who finished 29th last month at provincials, will look to carry this positive momentum against interprovincial opponents next week from Oct. 12-15.
