Jones finished in second place out of 58 runners at the Centennial Cross Country Invitational on Oct. 16. He ran an eight kilometre time of 26:57.1, a pace of 3:22 per kilometre. Jones and his St. Clair Saints teammates were the top men's team at the competition, with four runners in the top six. Jones, a two-time All-Canadian and member of the OCAA All-Ontario First-Team will now set his sights on the upcoming OCAA Cross Country Championships, taking place at Albion Hills Conservation Park in Caledon, Ont., on Oct. 30.
