Johnston helped lead the Durham Lords to a perfect 6-0 record in Etobicoke over the weekend to begin the 2022 women's rugby season season. The second-year back scored a total of five tries over two days and was one of the team's strongest contributors on defence. Johnston has averaged one try per match in OCAA regular season play, scoring 11 tries in 11 contests. Durham was dominant in its six victories, outscoring its opponents 183-5, and now lead the OCAA standings by two wins. OCAA's next round of matches take place Oct. 1-2 in Peterborough.
