In Game 1 of a doubleheader against Durham on Sept. 14, Wagenhoffer went 3-for-4 including two multiple-run home runs. The second-year catcher drove in seven RBI while scoring three runs in a 19-18 loss which set a new OCAA record for combined runs in one game. Five of his RBI were scored by Tyler Romandel who tied an OCAA single-game record for runs scored. In Game 2 Wagenhoffer once again went 3-for-4, including a double, two RBI and one run scored. George Brown was leading 11-8 before the game was suspended.
