The Algonquin Wolves improved to 10-0 on the season after defeating the Loyalist Lancers and St. Lawrence Surge. McDonald, a third-year guard and reigning All-Canadian, stuffed the stat sheet all weekend long recording back-to-back double-doubles. On Jan. 19 versus the Lancers, McDonald finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals in a 88-44 win. McDonald had an even more impressive performance the following day recording 22 points, 10 steals, six rebounds and two assists in a 77-41 win over the Surge.
