Coughlan was instrumental in helping the Seneca Sting secure their first OCAA women's volleyball medal since 2001. The first-year setter guided the Sting to a silver medal while being named a Championship All-Star. Coughlan had 36 assists, five digs and three kills while being named Player of the Match in a straight sets win over the Durham Lords in the semi-final before adding 41 assists, eight digs and four kills in a four-set loss to the Humber Hawks in the gold medal match. Coughlan averaged 10.69 assists per set during the post-season.
