Along with women's doubles partner Monique Lee, Kochapanya secured the silver medal at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Badminton National Championships in King City. The medal marks the best result in the discipline throughout the George Brown program's history. After going 3-2 in round-robin play, the pair defeated their Seneca Sting rivals 2-0 (22-20, 21-17) in the semi-finals to set up a gold medal match against the King's Eagles. Despite their efforts, they narrowly fell short, losing 2-0 (21-17, 23-21).
