Salman helped lead the Mohawk Mountaineers to their first victory of the year and a draw versus the two-time reigning national champion Humber Hawks this past week. In Mohawk's 3-2 win over the Niagara Knights on Sept. 13, Salman scored two goals, including the game-winner in the 69th minute. Then in a 1-1 draw against the Hawks on Sept. 16, Salman scored in the 78th minute. The three goals puts Salman among the leaders in the OCAA West Division after only scoring once last season. Mohawk is now 1-1-1 through three matches.
