Turco scored an OCAA career-high two tries to help propel the Georgian Grizzlies to a 17-12 season opening victory over the Conestoga Condors in front of over 600 fans on Sept. 15 at J.C. Massie Field. Normally a scrum-half, Turco was shifted out of position to start at fly-half and was outstanding organizing the back line and communicating to teammates to make adjustments offensively and defensively during the match. The Grizzlies will now prepare for an OCAA gold medal rematch against the defending champion Durham Lords this Sunday.
