Peter Sniuolis was a men's volleyball athlete at Mohawk College from 2003 to 2008. During this time, Peter was a major contributor to the success of the men's volleyball program.

Peter was recognized as an OCAA League All-Star every season. In 2005-06, Peter was team captain and led the Mountaineers to an OCAA gold medal. That same season Peter was named OCAA League All-Star, OCAA Championship All Star, OCAA Male Athlete of the Year, OCAA Men's Volleyball Player of the Year, CCAA Athlete of the Month, CCAA All-Canadian, and CCAA Championship Player of the Game.

In 2006-07, Peter led the Mountaineers to an OCAA silver medal and was once again named an OCAA Championship All-Star and CCAA All Canadian. In Peter's last year, the Mountaineers won another OCAA gold medal and earned the program's first-ever CCAA medal (bronze). Peter was honoured with OCAA Player of the Week, OCAA Player of the Game (championship), OCAA First-Team All-Star, CCAA Player of the Game (championship), and CCAA First-Team Championship All-Star.

At Mohawk, Peter was recognized as the Mountaineer Male Freshman Athlete of the Year in 2004. In 2006, Peter was named Mohawk's Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year and graduated as the all-time leader in sets for the Mohawk men's volleyball program. Peter was inducted into the Mountaineer Hall of Fame in 2017.
