Clemens home run highlights home finale

OSHAWA, ON - Hosting the Seneca Sting at Durham Field, the Durham College women's softball team swept the Wednesday night doubleheader with impressive back-to-back wins, 12-2 and 8-1.

The Wednesday evening showdown marked the home finale for the Lords who ended a four-game slide with the victories. The Durham offense was chugging, outhitting Seneca 18-6 and outscoring the Sting 20-3 over the two matches played. Highlighting the big offensive night in front of the home crowd was first-year athlete Natalie Clemens (MarMora, ON) who scored the eventual game-winning run in the second game courtesy a solo home run in the fifth inning.
