PANTHERS MAKE IT 7 IN A ROW

(NORTH BAY, ON)  The Panthers Women's Volleyball team made it seven straight wins after defeating the Algonquin Wolves and La Cite Coyotes over the weekend.

Saturday, the Panthers got off to a great start taking the first two sets 25-22, 25-22 behind the strong play of rookie outside hitter Charlotte Randall.

Algonquin battled back to take the third set 27-25 before Canadore would put the match away in the fourth set by a score of 25-16.

Domenica DeFrancesco had 16 kills, 4 blocks and 12 digs in the win.

Sunday, the Panthers took on the La Cite Coyotes and extended their winning streak to 7 games as the swept La Cite 3-0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-17).

Carlie Pappano led the Panthers with 6 kills, 2 aces and 11 digs.

Canadore returns to the court January 13 on the road vs Durham Lords.
