No. 12-ranked Mohawk Mountaineers men's volleyball bounced back into the win column after a four set victory (25-23, 27-25, 22-25, 25-21) against the Conestoga Condors.

The Mountaineers and Condors were neck and neck all four sets, with the Mountaineers coming out on top. Head coach Brad McClure thought his team came together nicely.

"We brought a lot of positive energy today," McClure said. "I think at times we were a little flat but I hope this win cures the blues a little bit."

Right side hitter Joel Sloots (Hamilton, ON) was back in the lineup for the Mountaineers and McClure had nothing but positive things to say.

"He came in and was a force at the net. He was a big voice when we definitely needed it," McClure said.

Michael Kong (Burlington, ON) led the way with 14 kills for Mohawk and Brayden Griffith (Winnipeg, MB) added 12.

The Mountaineers (4-2) return to action on Mar. 2 when they travel to play the Sheridan Bruins at 8 p.m.
