North Bay, ON -- Grizzlies dominate their trip to North Bay, defeat Canadore in straight sets and re-claim first place in the East Division. The final score was 3-0 in favor of Georgian, with set scores of 25-23, 27-25, and 25-17.
In the first set, Georgian took an early lead with a score of 25-23. Canadore put up a fight but couldn't match Georgian's performance. The second set was closely contested, with both teams displaying strong offensive skills. However, Georgian managed to secure a narrow victory with a score of 27-25. In the final set, Georgian dominated the game, winning comfortably with a score of 25-17.
Georgian's coach was pleased with his team's performance, particularly their attacking and serving skills. Kenneth Ang (Edmonton, AB), the team's setter, played a crucial role in distributing the ball effectively, recording 20 assists. Liam Ludlow (Barrie, ON) was the top scorer for Georgian, contributing 8 kills. Shaun McLaughlin (Toronto, ON) and Tyrell Belgrove (Markham, ON) also made significant contributions with 3 kills each.
