OSHAWA, Ont. – Ranked No. 6 in the country, the Durham College women's volleyball team earned a straight sets victory over the visiting Canadore Panthers on Friday afternoon at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre. Set scores were 25-20, 25-21, 25-17.
DC have now won 25 consecutive sets in a row, while holding a perfect 28-0 record versus OCAA east opponents in regular season action dating back to February 2018. • Clarke was amazing at the net for the Lords registering seven total blocks, just one shy of a career-high set last November. She added seven kills and one ace for a game-high 15 points.
• Veteran outside hitters
Allyson Terwillegar (Enniskillen, Ont.) and
Jessica Joensen (Newcastle, Ont..) each added 11 points, with Terwillagar scoring 10 kills and one ace, while Joensen recorded nine kills, one service ace, and one block.
• Kristine Ledger notched a team-high 10 points from 10 kills for the Panthers.
• Second-year setter
Georgi Williams (Whitby, Ont.) guided the Lords offence with 23 assists, adding four kills and one ace, while also registering five digs.
