PANTHERS SPLIT HOME GAMES

(NORTH BAY, ON) - The Panthers Women's Volleyball team split the weekend as they faced off against the Seneca String and the Loyalist Lancers.

Saturday, Canadore battled with a strong Seneca team dropping the first set 23-25. The Panthers would fight back but the String were to strong for the Panthers dropping both the second and thrid set 14-25, 20-25.

The Panthers were led by Domenica DeFrancesco with 10 kills, 9 digs, 1 block and 12 points and Charlotte Randall with 12 kills, 4 digs, 1 block, and 13 points.

Sunday, Canadore bounce back against the Lancers winning the match in 4 sets (22-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-18) improving their recond to 11 wins on the year.

The Panthers was led behind a strong performance by Carlie Pappano with 19 kills, 2 aces, 13 digs, and 22 points and Domenica DeFrancesco with 16 kills, 2 aces, 13 digs, and 20 points.

Next for the Panthers will be on the road to take on the George Brown Huskies on Feb. 03. with first serve slated for 4 p.m. and Centennial Colts on Feb. 04. with first serve slated for 1 p.m. Both games will be stremed live on OCAA LIVE.
