LONDON, Ont. - The Fanshawe Falcons downed the Mohawk Mountaineers in both ends of an OCAA women's softball twin bill in London, Ont., on Friday.

They dropped the opener 11-1 in five innings. Fanshawe scored four runs in the third inning and then exploded for seven in the fourth to blow the game open. Aimee Leduc suffered the loss. Nikki Grover drove in Sarah Bell with Mohawk's lone run.

The Mountaineers then bowed 9-3, although the score was only 5-3 for the Falcons in the sixth inning.

Bell scored two runs. Grover, who was tagged with the defeat, had an RBI and Hailee Anthony had a pair of hits.
