The left wing also scored twice in an 11-0 win over the Sault Cougars one day earlier. Iliopoulos' veteran presence helped lead the Wolves to a 2-0 start in the East Division as they look to improve on their 5-5 record a year ago. After returning to classes this week, the Wolves will return the favour traveling to visit the Cougars this Saturday.

Oates had a perfect start to the 2023 OCAA men's baseball campaign, taking the mound against the Sault Cougars on Sept. 10. The second-year right-hander proceeded to retire 15 consecutive Cougars in order, striking out seven, and officially earned a perfect game when the Centennial Colts scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth to win by mercy rule 10-0. Oates is no stranger to pitching gems, having previously thrown the first no-hitter in Colts history. The Colts start their season 3-0 with some big match-ups on the horizon.

In three games on opening weekend, Robinson batted .400 (4-for-10) for the reigning OCAA champion St. Clair Saints, leading the team to a 3-0 start. In particular, the third-year first baseman put on a show offensively in a doubleheader against the Seneca Sting on Sept. 10 with a pair of home runs in consecutive innings in the fifth and sixth that resulted in three RBIs. The Saints won the game 11-3. In Game 2, Robinson added another round tripper for a three-home run day at the plate as part of a six-run third inning in a 7-2 victory.

Way also assisted on the game-winning goal. The following day, Way started in goal against the Algonquin Thunder but ended up playing the second half at centre back due to injuries. Down three, Way helped settle the defence down and spurred the team into a big second half comeback, as the Golden Shield won 4-3.
