TEAM OCAA GOLDEN AT CCAA GOLF NATIONALS

The Champlain St. Lawrence Lions captured the 2021 CCAA men's golf championship while the OCAA Team comprised of Hayley McCallum (Humber), Madison Ouellette (Humber) and Shannon Coffey (St. Clair) claimed the women's gold medals.

Due to inclement weather, the final round of the 2021 CCAA Golf National Championship presented by PING was suspended, reducing the event to 54 holes.

Jayden Dudas of Medicine Hat College and Anne-Sophie Bélanger of Champlain St. Lawrence were crowned the 2021 CCAA men's and women's individual champions respectively. Dudas was at 2 under par and Bélanger finished at 10 over after the three rounds of play.

The men's individual silver medal went to Justin Grimard from the Rafales de Terrebonne who posted a total of 1-over par for the tournament. Felix Bouchard (Andre-Laurendeau), Mitchel Hampson (Fanshawe) and Matthew Bremer (Humber) shared the bronze at +2. In addition to their OCAA team win, McCallum and Ouellette from Humber College tied for the individual silver medal at +11. All five men and three women's medalists were named CCAA All-Stars.

The Champlain St. Lawrence Lions men's team defended their 2019 CCAA national championship with a combined score of +29. The team silver medals went to André-Laurendeau and the team bronze medals went to Medicine Hat College. RSEQ and OCAA teams claimed the silver and bronze medals in the women's conference team competitions.

Noah Leduc of the Georgian Grizzlies and Julia Davis of the Durham Lords won the Exemplary Leadership awards presented by PING.
