PANTHERS SPLIT HOME OPENER

(North Bay, ON) - The Canadore Panthers women's volleyball team look to their home opener for their first win as they take on Fleming Phoenix.

After winning the first two sets 25-13, 25-16 behind the outstanding play of Domenica DeFrancesco (Barrie, ON) and Kira Fahrbach (Ingersoll, ON). The Panthers had Fleming on their heels and were determined to compete the sweep in three sets.

The Panthers went out in the third set with a mission and dominated with the outstanding defensive play by Kira Fahrbach (Ingersoll, ON). The Panthers closed out the third set with a 25-15 win, sweeping Fleming for their first win of this 2023-24 season.

Next for the Panthers will be at home to take on the Durham Lords on Oct. 28. with first serve slated for 1 p.m. The game will be stremed live on OCAA LIVE.

(North Bay, ON) - The Canadore Panthers women's volleyball team look to their second home game to try and add another win as they take on Durham Lords.

The Panthers Women's Volleyball team came up short splitting the weekend with a 1-3 (21-25, 20-25, 25-17, 18-25,) sets lost to Durham Lords. After dropping the first two sets the Panthers battled back in the third, with a strong performance from Carlie Pappano (North Bay, ON), and Domenica DeFrancesco (Barrie, ON). The Panthers weren't able to capitalize as Durham pulled away in the fourth set to close out the match.

Next for the Panthers will be on the road to take on the Algonquin Wolves on Nov. 04. with first serve slated for 4 p.m. and La Cite Coyotes on Nov. 05. with first serve slated for 12 p.m. Both games will be stremed live on OCAA LIVE.
