NORTH YORK, Ont. - With a chance to win-out and climb the Central Division ladder to finish second, the Sheridan Bruins men's soccer team (5-4 OCAA) got off to a slow start - conceding twice in the opening 13 minutes - and were never quite able to recover in a 3-1 loss to George Brown.

"I'm proud of the way our boys fought back, but we dug oursleves a pretty deep hole and those are never easy to climb out of, especially against a quality side like George Brown," assistant coach Robert Stillo said.

Reshaun Walkes scored the lone Sheridan goal. 

The result locks the Bruins into third place, and by virtue of an East Division Championship host, also delivers the opportunity to host a playoff game.

They will play the fourth ranked team from the East - Algonquin (18), Durham (16), Centennial (15), and Seneca (13) began the weekend within five points of each other - but one of those four will be bumped from the post-season to accomodate Championship host Fleming, who will receive an automatic quarter-final berth.
