Women's rugby suffer setback in first sevens match day

REXDALE, Ont. -- The Sheridan Bruins women's rugby team (0-4 OCAA) got off to a rough start in the first ever OCAA women's rugby sevens match day, dropping all four games. 

They began the day with a 20-10 loss to Mohawk, with Carah Hager scoring both Bruin tries. 

The Double-Blue were shut out twice over the course of the day by Conestoga and Humber

They also suffered a 29-10 loss to Seneca, where Taylor Quigley and Kyleigh Jampen scored the tries. 

The club will travel to Seneca on October 1 for another match day against the same four teams.
