The Georgian Grizzlies men's volleyball team continued their strong start to the season on Wednesday when they visited the George Brown Huskies in Toronto.
Georgian had a tough start after dropping the first set 25-17 to George Brown.
Not fazed, the Grizzlies battled back to take three straight sets for an impressive 3-1 (17-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-17) win.
Darien Haynes scored a team high 16 points (nine blocks, seven kills) while Adam Bielby (15 points) and Trevor Recalla (13 points) both had strong games.
The Grizzlies volleyball team move to 2-0 on the season.
Next up the Grizzlies will travel to North Bay to face the Canadore Panthers on Oct. 30. Georgian returns home to face the Durham Lords on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. at the Georgian Athletic Centre.
