The Georgian Grizzlies women's basketball team opened up the second half of their OCAA regular season on Saturday night against the undefeated St. Lawrence Vikings in Kingston, ON.
The rust was evident for the Grizzlies to start the game as they had difficulty putting points on the board. Georgian were able to find their game in the second half but it was too little too late as they fell 78-47 to the Vikings.
Leah Bracken led the Grizzlies in scoring with 19 points in the loss.
The Grizzlies will be back in action on Sunday afternoon against the Loyalist Lancers in a big match for Georgian's playoff hopes.
