Knights Make Quick Work of Sheridan in 3-0 Sweep

February 24, 2022- The Niagara Knights women's volleyball team came out swinging Wednesday night in a 3-0 (25-15,26-24,25-10) win over the struggling Sheridan Bruins.

The Knights came into their game fresh off a win against Conestoga sunday and were looking add another W to thier record while the Bruins were still searching for their first win of the 2022 campaign.

The Knights worked quickly to shut down Sheridan with a quick 25-15 set one win that set the tone for what was to come the rest of the match.

Sheridan had a second set comeback that saw both teams trading point for point, but it was Niagara who came out on top 26-24 to go up 2-0.

Niagara through in the final dagger with an easy 25-10 third set win to complete the sweep of the Bruins, leaving them winless in four, while the Knights improved to 3-2.

Fourth year Natasha Desjardins led the Knights in Kills with 17, while third year Madelyn Berg earned 12.

Next up for the Knights will be their eastern swing road trip, where they will meet Fanshawe College (4-2) Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm, and St. Clair (3-2) Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
