The Mohawk Mountaineers counldn't continue their 16-match winning streak on the national court as they finished in fifth place at the CCAA Men’s Volleyball National Championships that took place last week in Quebec City as Cégep Limoilou hosted the event.
The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) men’s volleyball season is down to the last eight remaining teams and the stage has been set for some of Ontario’s top collegiate players to compete for the Championship title.
Following a fantastic week of play to finish off the regular season, all eight teams that will be competing for the OCAA Men’s Volleyball Championship have officially been determined. The Championships are slated for February 23-25 at Humber College (Etobicoke).
The stars will be shining over Seneca College this weekend as the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) holds its 13th Annual Volleyball All-Star Game at Seneca this Saturday, January 14, 2006.
If the second part of the season reflects anything like the first in OCAA Men’s Volleyball then it looks as though a new champion will be crowned this year.
