The Nova Scotia Agricultural College is set to host the 2006 Mazda Canadian Colleges Athletic Association (CCAA) Women’s National Volleyball Championship from March 10-12 in Truro, NS.
With the OCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships set to get underway in Etobicoke today at Humber College from February 23-25, the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) is pleased to announce the 2005-06 all-stars and major award winners.
Humber College will be hosting Ontario’s top collegiate female volleyball players at the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) 2006 Women’s Volleyball Championships from February 23-25.
The stars will be shining over Seneca College this weekend as the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) holds its 13th Annual Volleyball All-Star Game at Seneca this Saturday, January 14, 2006.
In the first half of the 2005-06 women’s volleyball season there were many memorable performances, most noticeably Megan Stacey of the Nipissing Lakers breaking two OCAA individual scoring records.
The Nipissing Lakers (North Bay) picked up their seventh win of the season, grabbing a share of first place in the division with the Humber Hawks (Etobicoke) as they swept the Sault Cougars (Sault Ste. Marie) 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-13).
Nipissing University’s Megan Stacey continues to set new benchmarks in the OCAA as she broke Claire Bramma’s record of 705 career points with a 34 point performance in a pair of weekend volleyball games.
