STACEY ETCHES HER NAME INTO OCAA RECORD BOOK AGAIN

The Nipissing Lakers (North Bay) picked up their seventh win of the season, grabbing a share of first place in the division with the Humber Hawks (Etobicoke) as they swept the Sault Cougars (Sault Ste. Marie) 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-13).

Megan Stacey of the Lakers broke the all-time career kill record (previously held by Clair Bramma – 587) in the third set as she collected her 12th kill of the match.

Stacey would add two more kills to finish the match with 14 kills, two aces and one block.

Last week, Stacey broke Bramma’s record of 705 career points with a 34-point performance in a pair of weekend volleyball games.
