PANTHERS SPLIT WEEKEND SET

(NORTH BAY, ON)  The Panthers Men's Volleyball team split a weekend set as they faced off against the Algonquin Wolves and the La Cite Coyotes.

Saturday, Canadore struggled early against the fourth-ranked Wolves dropping the opening set 25-22.

The Panthers would fight back in the second, behind the strong play of second year outside hitter Konrad Siedlec, taking the set 25-17.

However, the Wolves would get back on track in the third and fourth sets to eventually win the match 3-1.

Siedlec led the Panthers with 11 kills, 7 digs and 2 blocks.

Sunday, Canadore took on the La Cite Coyotes and sweept them in 3 sets (25-14, 25-13, 25-14) improving their recond to 5 wins.

The Panthers was once again led by Siedlec with 16 kills, 1 aces, 6 digs for a total of 17 points.

Canadore returns to the court January 13 on the road vs Durham Lords.
