PANTHERS COME AWAY WITH TWO

(North York, ON) - The Canadore Panthers men's volleyball team opened their 2023-24 season on the road with a couple matches. First stop, North York, ON against Seneca Sting.

The Panthers Men's Volleyball team came away with a 3-2 (16-25, 26-24, 25-23, 22-25, 15-13) sets win over Seneca Sting. After losing the first set the Panthers rally to take the second and third set, with Seneca forcing a fifth. The Panthers came out strong in the fifth, but with it being close throughout the set, the Panthers pulled away late with some key serving from Nolan Ross (Burlington, ON) and with a key kill from Konrad Siedlec (Cambridge, ON) to capture thier first win of the 2023-24 season.

Konrad Siedlec (Cambridge, ON) had 10 kills for the Panthers, while Ethan Lucas (Sydenham, ON) posted 9 kills. Tristan Godmire (Ottawa, ON) earned 29 out of Canadore' s 33 assists.

Next for the Panthers will be at Loyalist Lancers on Oct. 22. First serve is slated for 3 p.m. and will be streamed live on OCAA LIVE.

 

(Belleville, ON) - For the second straight day in a row the Canadore Panthers men's volleyball team battle through another fifth setter against the Loyalist Lancers.

The Panthers Men's Volleyball team came away with another 3-2 (25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 18-25, 15-8) sets win over Loyalist Lancers. With the Panthers taking sets one and three, and Loyalist taking sets two and three, the game had to be decided in the fifth. The Panthers once again came out strong in the fifth with some key blocking from second year Hallen Ettles (New Liskeard, ON), as the Panthers captured thier second win of the year.

Konrad Siedlec (Cambridge, ON), and Tristan Godmaire (Ottawa, ON) had a team high 7 kills each, while Corey Forest (North Bay, ON), and Hallen Ettles (New Liskeard, ON) lead the team in blocks with 3 each.

Next for the Panthers will be at home to take on the Fleming Phoenix on Oct. 27. with first serve slated for 8 p.m. and Durham Lords on Oct. 28. with first serve slated for 3 p.m. Both games will be stremed live on OCAA LIVE.
