PANTHERS SWEEP THE WEEKEND

(NORTH BAY, ON) - The Panthers Men's Volleyball team sweep the weekend as they faced off against the Seneca String and the Loyalist Lancers.

Saturday, Canadore battled with Seneca but drop the first set set 25-23. The Panthers would fight back in the second, behind the strong play of first year outside hitter Liam Callaghan, taking the set 25-21. Canadore continue their strong play behind Corey Forest, and Lane Cote strong preformace taking the sets 25-18, 25-17.

Liam Callaghan led the Panthers with 13 kills, 10 digs, 3 blocks and 20 points.

Sunday, Canadore took on the Loyalist Lancers winning the match in 4 sets (23-25, 25-23, 25-17, 26-24) improving their recond to 7 wins on the year.

The Panthers was led by Konrad Siedlec with 15 kills, 2 aces, 9 digs for a total of 18 points.

Next for the Panthers will be on the road to take on the George Brown Huskies on Feb. 03. with first serve slated for 6 p.m. and Centennial Colts on Feb. 04. with first serve slated for 3 p.m. Both games will be stremed live on OCAA LIVE.
