(NORTH BAY, ON) The Canadore Panthers Women's Volleyball team made it five straight wins after defeating the George Brown College Huskies 3-1.
The Huskies played inspiring defense took advantage of a slow start by the Panthers in the first set and won the opening set 25-16.
Carlie Pappano came off the bench to give the Panthers a much-needed spark in the second set and they never looked back taken the next three 25-21, 25-16, 25-21 to complete the comeback.
Pappano and Domenica DeFrancesco lead the Panthers with 11 kills each.
The Panthers are next in action this weekend as they take on the Algonquin College Wolves on Saturday, December 2 at 1pm.
