Windsor, ON- The St. Clair College men's volleyball team fell to the Niagara Knights by a score of 3-1 on Saturday afternoon at the Sportsplex.
Set scores for Niagara were 25-22, 25-20, 23-25, and 25-16.
Rookie outside hitter Frankie Friesen (Staples; Tilbury District) led the way offensively with 10 kills, 3 stuff blocks, and 8 digs. Ryan Acott (Windsor; Kennedy Collegiate) also had a solid match with 5 kills, 3 stuff blocks and 4 digs.
With the loss the Saints record fell to 2-6 on the season while Niagara improved to 5-4. The Knights are currently ranked 8th in the OCAA.
St. Clair is next in action on Sunday, December 2nd when they host the Sheridan Bruins at 3 pm at the Sportsplex in their final game of the fall semester.
