An inability to find their three-point scoring costed the No. 7 nationally ranked Mohawk Mountaineers versus the Redeemer Royals, losing 101-89.

As a team this season, the Mountaineers have shot 35.4 per cent from three, but were an ineffective nine-of-43 against the Royals.

Mohawk kept it close in the first-half, only trailing by three going into the break. Redeemer would win the third-quarter by nine points which was the difference maker.

Daniel Graham (Hamilton, ON) led the Mountaineers with 24 points and seven rebounds. Rommel Calura (Hamilton, ON) added 16, Jerry Jr. Mercury had a double-double with 14 points and 17 rebounds, and Cale Calura (Hamilton, ON) provided 13.

Mohawk will close out the regular season with a home game against the St. Clair Saints on Feb. 18 starting at 6 p.m.
