Women's Soccer Qualify for OCAA Quarterfinals

Windsor, ON- The St. Clair college women's soccer team took to their home pitch on Wednesday afternoon in OCAA playoff action against the Niagara Knights and came away with a convincing 6-0 win.

Jessica Doll started the scoring in the 14th minute assisted by Alec Habash.  Doll put the Saints up 2-0 in the 32nd minute set up by Victoria Walsh. Karlee Tinline made it 3-0 at the end of the first half assisted by Ellie Voakes.

Tinline scored again to start the 2nd half in the 50th minute set up by Layla Hutson. Tinline got the natural hat trick in the 53rd minute assisted by Walsh. Alexa Mognon wrapped up the scoring in the 80th minute assisted by Doll.

Keeper Scotlyn Fick was solid in goal earing the win and clean sheet.

With the win St. Clair will now host the Centennial Colts on Saturday at noon at Acumen Stadium. The winner will advance to the OCAA Championship Final Four. Centennial finished in 3rd in the East Division with a record of 7 wins, 1 loss and 2 ties and are ranked 4th in Ontario. The Saints were 2nd in the West Division with an identical record and are ranked 5th in Ontario.
