LANCERS LOSE TO SECOND PLACE WOLVES

The Lancers lost a tight battle against the Algonquin Wolves on the road in Ottawa on Saturday, January 21st.

The first set was a closely contested one that saw Wolves pull ahead 25-22 at the end of the set to go up 1-0. The Lancers fell behind early on in the second and despite keeping the score close, they weren't able to over take the home team and dropped the set to go down 0-2. The 2nd place Wolves were dominant in the third and the Lancers fell in straight sets.

Lancer middles Aaron Wilson and Angus Row turned in solid performances with 4 kills and 2 blocks for 6 points each, while second year outside hitter Pedro Caselotto recorded 10 kills.

The Lancers go for their third win of the season when they visit the La Cite Coyotes on Sunday, January 22nd at 3 PM.
