(London, ON) – On Saturday afternoon, the Fanshawe Men's Soccer team (6-2-2) pulled off a win against the Redeemer Royals (3-7) in a 3-0 match.
During the 25th minute, Fanshawe's Bilal El said (London, ON) scored his second goal of the season to take the lead against the visitors. Midfielder Engjell Qamili (London, ON) then picked up his second assist of the game, as he found Kyle Cameron (St. Catharines, ON) in the 37th minute. Before the end of the first, Cameron assisted Zachary Parent (Chatham, ON) who scored the final goal of the game, and the Falcons secured the 3-0 victory.
On Wednesday, the Falcons, who finished 4th in the West Division, will host the Sheridan Bruins (5-5, 5th West) in the first-round playoff game at 3:00 p.m. at the Fanshawe Soccer Field. The last time the Falcons and Bruins played, the Birds won 2-1.
